Villas 7/18

This is a picture I took while touring Queretaro.
today we had a lime eating conest, we ate the entire lime, with seeds and skin and everything.  also wearing my Mexico soccer jersey! Im basically mexican. oh and thats elder varney! I know his brother from SVU! jaja small world.

SO, this week has been interesting we had divisions, I went with Hermana Maldonado to her area in Indusrial. it was fun....i got to help her go online and fill out an application to BYU..because its all in ENglish....she now realizes that she really needs to learn english if shes going to BYU o BYU Idaho.  and so do i....ugh.   Also we had some problems with our investigator thats going to get baptized, BUT, we saught help and we figured it out and shes good to go to be baptized this coming Sunday before church starts! phew...thank goodness! she is super sweet!!! its Esme!
Also today we had a carne asada with the zone! it was super fun and we played Mafia, it was great! Im pretty sure I was yelling over them and lost my voice....then then Mexicans that are in our zone did there..flag salute, and then us 3 americans did ours...I forgot it...Now i feel bad, you would think that afer years and years of saying the pledge of allegiance that you wouldnt forget it...but i did.  jaja.  I have been studying alot this week about Joseph Smith, why is that he was chosen to be the prophet of the Restoration? What made him different from the rest asking which church was true, and NOW! I learned a little bit about why...but it mainly just left with a whole bunch of desires to watch the full version of the Restoration.  jaja. we have it in the house...but nothing to watch it with...oh the horror!!!!  So we had to learn alot about patience this week, with all the things going on...basically ALL OF OUR APPOINTMENTS Fell through even in divisions! but, we kept working hard and ended up visiting, whom I believe really needed us at the time.  Sometimes I feel as though the mission is like50% preaching the gospel and the other 50% is life and marriage counseling. its interesting....not sure if its like that in the united states, but the people here are super open, and share everything with us,even if we just met them on the street.  Its hoenstly really cool, and helps us to focus in on the needs of others rather than our own more often.  I have pics to send this week! so I wont forget to send them! love you all and thanks for the love and prayers!

CON AMOR
Hermana Sever
